Celebrating A Decade of Kids Changing the World
During the summer of 2016, when we were just 6 and 8 years old—my sister Brooke and I had a simple idea: kids could make a difference too. Armed with lemonade stands, backpack drives, and a lot of enthusiasm, we set out to help others and created OC Kids Giving Back. Just a few months later, our cousins Hailey and Leah Miller, ages 5 and 7, launched LA Kids Giving Back, and what began as a family passion project quickly grew into something much bigger. CA Kids Giving Back Members named Student Visionaries of the Year Raising Over $610,000 for Cancer Research!
We are thrilled to share that our team, led by Leah Miller, Eva Bolno, and Eloise Bergman, has been named Student Visionaries of the Year by Blood Cancer United after raising over $610,000 for blood cancer research! Winning this campaign competition was the result of months of hard work, and we are so proud of everything our team accomplished together. Join Team Hope for a Cure's 2026 Campaign!
In 2024, Team Hope for a Cure accomplished something extraordinary. CA Kids Giving Back Brings Comfort to New Mothers Through Summer Hospital Program
This summer, two of our dedicated teen volunteers had the privilege of spreading care and compassion through a special hospital outreach program supporting mothers who had just given birth.
