This summer, two of our dedicated teen volunteers had the privilege of spreading care and compassion through a special hospital outreach program supporting mothers who had just given birth. CA Kids Giving Back partnered with Saint Francis Hospital to assemble and distribute thoughtfully curated care packages designed to support both new moms and their newborns during those first important days.

Each care package was filled with essential and comforting items, including baby diapers, soft blankets, toys, and other must-have supplies to help ease the transition into motherhood. From practical necessities to small touches of joy, every item was chosen with love and intention. Seeing the gratitude and smiles from new mothers reminded us how meaningful even simple acts of kindness can be.

This program would not have been possible without the incredible support of Prime Healthcare and their hospital staff, whose compassion and collaboration helped make this experience so impactful. Together with our teen volunteers, they created a warm and supportive environment focused on care, dignity, and encouragement for families at a vulnerable and life-changing moment.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to continue making a difference this summer and look forward to bringing even more comfort, support, and kindness to families in our community 💕
