We did a lemonade stand to support Dancer Against Cancer foundation!!!

On July 19, 2019, I did a lemonade stand with my friend, Allison. We were supporting the Dancer Against Cancer foundation. We are both dancers so the charity we chose made sense for us to support. We held the lemonade stand in my neighborhood. We stayed out there for less than an hour and raised $100. People were very willing to donate even more than the lemonade cost to help people with cancer.

The Dancer Against Cancer’s mission statement from their website www.imadanceragainstcancer.org is “to create an alliance in the dance community that provides financial support and inspiration to dance educators, choreographers, dancers and their families who have been impacted by cancer.”
