San Diego Kids Giving Back Launch Event

July 3rd we had a launch event to launch SD Kids Giving Back. We collected 20 sheets, 3 sleeping bags, a blanket, 50 tooth brushes, 25 tooth pastes, 5 pillows, 17 stuffed animals, 2 gift cards. All of that stuff went to San Diego Youth Services and we estimated the donation amount to be $689.

San Diego Youth Services offers programming dedicated to ending homelessness in San Diego County. We offer a range safe and stable housing options and support services designed to assist youth in developing the independent living skills necessary to become self-sufficient and keep off the streets. Counseling, mental health treatment, case management, skill building, educational support and access to resources are provided for youth to help them overcome the trauma and life challenges that put them at-risk for homelessness.
